The Finnish Red Cross organizes four applicant webinars to support those who are interested in applying to the Finnish Red Cross aid worker reserve. These are new webinars taking place in December 2024 and January 2025.

Join the webinars to learn about the Finnish Red Cross aid worker reserve and what to consider when applying to the reserve. During the webinar you will also have an opportunity to hear insights from an experienced delegate and learn about opportunities that joining the reserve can offer.

We organize two webinars for all the applicants. Additionally, we organize two separate webinars, one for medical and health care professionals and one for technicians.

The webinar target groups and times:

• All applicants: Thursday 19.12.2024 at 17.00-18.00 Finnish time. Sign up for the webinar here. The deadline for registrations to the webinar is on Wednesday 18.12.2024 at 12.00 Finnish time.
   
• Medical field and healthcare: Thursday 9.1.2025 at 17.00-18.00 Finnish time. Sign up for the webinar here. The deadline for registrations to the webinar is on Wednesday 8.1.2025 at 12.00 Finnish time.
• Technicians: Tuesday 14.1.2025 at 17.00-18.00 Finnish time. Sign up for the webinar here. The deadline for registrations to the webinar is on Monday 13.1.2025 at 12.00 Finnish time.
• All applicants: Tuesday 21.1.2025 at 17.00-18.00 Finnish time. Sign up for the webinar here. The deadline for registrations to the webinar is on Monday 20.1.2025 at 12.00 Finnish time.

The webinars will be delivered by Finnish Red Cross staff in collaboration with members of the delegate reserve. The webinars will be held in English.

All webinars will be delivered on Microsoft Teams. The webinars will not be recorded. The Teams link will be sent to registered participants via email on the day before the webinar.

The webinars consist of a brief presentation followed by a conversation with an experienced delegate. The webinars will end in Q&A in which some applicants’ questions, that can be submitted in the registration form before the webinar, will be answered.

Despite the focus on certain professional field in some of the webinars, all the webinars are open to all applicants, and they are free to attend.
